Centurion employs only experienced construction quality assurance and quality control professionals to perform site inspections and onsite construction materials testing. In addition, our utilization of only AASHTO and AMRL certified laboratories ensures that our clients' design criteria and construction recommendations are strictly followed. Our assembly of Professional Engineers and Geologists, as well as NICET, ACI, ICC and AWS certified technicians and inspectors, provides quality assurance and quality control personnel that are thoroughly qualified for all aspects of construction control and has earned Centurion the reputation as a premium quality assurance agency in the Western United States.

Management Team
Brian Eller, P.E.
Mr. Brian Eller, P.E. is the Centurion Consultant’s Principal Engineer and is a registered civil engineer in the states of Nevada and California. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Eller has been involved exclusively in the operations and business development of special inspection and materials testing laboratories for 15 years and has been in the construction industry for 16 years. Throughout his career Mr. Eller has always been focused on improving efficiency through technology. This unique combination of construction and engineering in addition to his background in computer science, gives Mr. Eller an unparalleled perspective on how to tackle any project.
Jerry Reynolds
Mr. Jerry Reynolds is the Centurion Team’s President. He has twenty-two (22) years of experience in third party QA/QC special inspection services. He has ICC certifications in reinforced concrete, pre-stressed concrete, masonry, soils, and fireproofing. His expertise is estimating and consulting for QA special inspection requirements for high-rise buildings including resort guestroom towers, convention centers, parking garages, casinos, tenant improvements for restaurants and retail outlets, etc. He is great at problem solving and has excellent relationships with owners, developers, and contractors in Southern Nevada.
Tyrell Farnes, P.E.
Mr. Tyrell Farnes, P.E. is the Centurion Team’s Business Unit Manager. He has thirteen (13) years of experience in the construction industry ranging from quality control with materials testing and inspections to engineering and project management. He is a registered Civil Engineer in the states of Nevada and Utah. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Utah State University. Mr. Farnes demonstrates excellent leadership skills to lead and manage the Centurion Team for the Las Vegas Office to effectively achieve project goals and maintain strong client relationships. Mr. Farnes has overseen QA/QC special inspections and material testing performed in various jurisdictions within Southern Nevada.
Michael Biondo
Mr. Michael Biondo is the Centurion Team’s Senior Project Manager for vertical/building department related projects. He has fifteen (15) years of experience performing quality assurance and third party special inspections and field testing services, with over 9 years in a Project Manager and Lead Special Inspector role. His expertise includes performing soils, structural masonry, prestressed concrete, post-tensioned concrete, reinforced concrete, and fire stopping special inspections for parking garage structures, resort hotels/casinos, and tenant improvement projects in Clark County, Nevada. Mr. Biondo has a wealth of experience and field knowledge which makes him a valuable resource to project teams.
Rene Aburto-Garcia
Mr. Rene Aburto-Garcia is the Centurion Team’s Business Unit Manager for our Southern California office located in Escondido, CA. He has twelve (12) years of construction experience with over 6 years focused on construction management, construction design, quality control, field engineering, estimating, scheduling, and managing project budgets. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Prior to his promotion to Business Unit Manager, Mr. Aburto-Garcia was in a leadership role overseeing the Centurion Team’s Quality Control Manager and Quality Control Coordinator staff members as a Senior Project Manager – Public Works.
Elizabeth Nichols
Ms. Elizabeth Nichols is an accomplished businessperson with over twenty (20) years of experience in quality assurance special inspections and construction materials testing services. She has successfully lead teams in finance, risk management, organizational structure development, human resources, field operations, and strategic planning. As Chief of Staff, Elizabeth interacts and provides guidance to multiple departments ensuring Centurion’s core values and objectives are achieved. When away from the office, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with family, hiking, and studying astronomy.
Selam Assore
Ms. Selam Assore earned her Bachelor of Science in Law from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. She joined the Centurion team in August 2015 and oversees business unit accounting, monthly financial reporting, and financial management for all Centurion offices. She is meticulous, organized, and has excellent analytical and critical thinking skills. Selam is an asset to the Centurion team’s success by collaborating with fellow team members as well as with clients to meet deadlines and deliver results.
Suzy Young
Ms. Suzy Young earned her Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She has over seven (7) years of business development experience with quality assurance/quality control special inspections and construction materials testing services. Suzy also has over 16 years of experience focused on customer service, building and maintaining client relationships, contract review, and coordinating events. Suzy is actively involved with A/C/E associations and has held committee leadership positions with Nevada Contractors Association and the American Public Works Association Southern Nevada Branch. In 2021, Suzy received the APWA Nevada Chapter Crystal Briscoe “Spitfire” Award for Outstanding Young Professional Member of the Year.
Negasi Gebremichael, PHDEG, P.E.
Mr. Negasi Gebremichael is the Centurion Team’s, Engineering Manager. He has over eleven (11) years of experience in the special inspections and construction materials testing industry. He is a registered Civil Engineer in the state of Nevada. He earned his Bachelor of Science, Master’s Degree, and Doctorate Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Mr. Gebremichael’s expertise is in geotechnical engineering, grading, cast-in-place, and helical drilling inspections. He also supports the team with project management and engineering oversight and review. He is knowledgeable about the various soils of Clark County and has worked on projects in various jurisdictions of Southern Nevada.
